Chip 1
Industry: Manufacturing Service: Web Design & DevelopmentChip 1 is a global distributor of electronic components and semiconductor sourcing solutions, serving manufacturers that depend on reliable procurement and inventory management. As the company continued expanding internationally, the client wanted a custom WordPress website that could communicate the scale of their operations while presenting complex sourcing services in a way that felt more accessible to industrial buyers.
Core Features
Project Brief
Those looking for a manufacturer in the components industry are typically looking for proof: customers and client base; types of products available; does company appear to have credibility? This was the focus of the project from its inception.
To accomplish the goal of having a functional website that describes Chip 1 in a crisp, professional manner, the design was kept simple but allowed enough flexibility to properly identify Chip 1 as a manufacturer of electronic and electrical components.
Once we collectively agreed on wireframes for the sections mentioned above, the UI/UX design and WordPress development were done in a manner that made Chip 1 appear more up-to-date than they may have been using a standard website model while maintaining the industrial brand image associated with a manufacturing company.
